Teaching Personnel is actively recruiting enthusiastic and caring Graduate Teaching Assistants to join a specialist school in Birmingham, supporting students with additional learning needs.

About the Role:
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you’ll support students both one-on-one and in small groups—helping them engage with learning, develop key life skills, and build their confidence. You’ll be an essential part of the classroom team, contributing to a positive, encouraging school culture.
Your responsibilities will include:

Providing tailored support to students with special educational needs

Assisting teachers with lesson planning and classroom activities

Promoting inclusion, independence, and positive behaviour

Creating a safe, nurturing space where students can thrive

Requirements:

Right to work in the UK

Enhanced Child Workforce DBS (or willingness to apply for one)

Previous experience working with children (paid or voluntary) is beneficial but not essential
