Key Responsibilities

As a Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students and staff across the school. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing one-to-one or small-group support to students

  • Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and general classroom management

  • Supporting students with additional learning needs and helping them stay engaged

  • Encouraging positive behaviour and acting as a positive role model

  • Preparing classroom resources and learning materials when required

  • Helping create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

  • Communicating effectively with teachers, students, and wider support staff

  • Demonstrating professionalism in line with the school’s expectations


What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a Teaching Assistant / LSA who has:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • A caring, patient, and supportive approach to working with young people

  • Strong organisational skills and a reliable attitude

  • The ability to work effectively within a team and follow teacher guidance

  • A positive attitude and commitment to student success

  • Experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)
