Teaching Assistant in Alton

Teaching Personnel are working with a Special Educational Needs school who cater for pupils up to the age of 22, with various physical and learning needs. The main purpose is to assist students with their education and after school activities on a daily basis.

The school require the successful candidate to work in both the school as well as the residential sites located on the school grounds, taking on a supportive role in all aspects.

Requirements:

- Assist in implementing all aspects of the pupils individual care plans.

- Use your initiative and get involved with the pupils.

- Must have a relevant qualification or previous experience working in healthcare, or with Special Needs individuals.

- The pupils are encouraged to work independently, so patience is essential.

- A positive and friendly disposition, and the ability to build relationships with the pupils.
