Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant – Salisbury

Salary: £13.75 per hour

A specialist SEN school in Salisbury is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time. The role involves supporting children aged 4–16 with a range of special educational needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech and language difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in delivering tailored learning plans
• Support pupils with emotional and behavioural challenges
• Promote positive behaviour and wellbeing
• Help maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working with SEN pupils in education or care
• Calm, patient, and resilient approach
• Skilled in de-escalation and behaviour support
• Comfortable working in a PRU or specialist setting
