Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant – Salisbury
Location: Salisbury, Wiltshire
Salary: £13.75 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Term-Time Only (Full-Time)
A specialist SEN school in Salisbury is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time. The role involves supporting children aged 4–16 with a range of special educational needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech and language difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in delivering tailored learning plans
- Support pupils with emotional and behavioural challenges
- Promote positive behaviour and wellbeing
- Help maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with SEN pupils in education or care
- Calm, patient, and resilient approach
- Skilled in de-escalation and behaviour support
- Comfortable working in a PRU or specialist setting

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
