The Role:

Here at Teaching Personnel we are looking for passionate and caring Teaching Assistants to work in schools and provisions supporting students with Autistic Spectrum Condition in Sheffield. You will be supporting these students in and around the classroom, building a strong and trusting relationship with the young people you care for. Your role will be to ease discomfort and anxiety in the classroom, making learning as accessible as possible. Sometimes you may be required in aiding the personal care of students.

The Candidate:

It is important that you are a caring and friendly person who is eager to get the best out of the students you support. You will enjoy the rewarding feeling of connecting with young people and promoting their social well-being as well as their academic achievements. Previous experience in supporting SEN students would be great but is not essential; those with a background in care or youth work also thrive in this role.
