Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant
Teaching Personnel are seeking a Teaching Assistant who has ideally been Team Teach trained, or willing to undergo training. We will be holding training in the February half term. We are seeking a Teaching Assistant who has the relevant knowledge and be experienced in de-escalation strategies. This is to ensure the support of teaching within the school, which will increase staff confidence by responding to challenging behaviour in a positive way.
The position will be focused in South Sheffield in Primary School settings predominantly with behaviour pupils who require positive behaviour support. You will need to act as a role model and mentor to children who are finding the school environment a challenge.
