ADHD Support Assistant - Rainhill

Are you an experienced Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant?
A local primary school in the South Liverpool area are currently looking for an experienced special educational needs Teaching Assistant, to work one to one with a pupil in year 2 with ADHD and disruptive behaviour. The role will be full time Monday - Friday, and is set to begin in September 2020 on a long term basis. To be successful for the role you must be able to commit to working the full working hours, as continuity for the pupil each week is essential. For the ideal candidate there could potentially be an opportunity for a permenant contract.
Ofsted have graded the school 'Good', and have been commended on their behaviour management and opportunities for progression.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with children with ADHD and challenging behaviour, in an educational environment.
The role:
- Start date, September 2020
- Rainhill area
- GBP10 - GBP11 per hour
- Monday – Friday
- Key stage 2
The school is easily accessible via public transport, and has a parking on site.
The ideal Candidate:
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant in a school environment
- Experienced working alongside children with special educational needs
- Experienced working with children with ADHD
- Hard working and committed to supporting children with a variety of learning needs
- Patient and supportive manner

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
