Teachers – Reception and KS1

Teaching Personnel have been working with a specialist school in Slough for the last 10 years. This school have been in contact regarding the need for two new Teachers to join their team in September 2021.

The roles are to work full time in the primary department:

Reception Teacher – Autism and Speech Language Communication Difficulties

KS1 Teacher – Autism, Social Emotional Mental Health Needs, Challenging Behaviour

Who they are looking for:

  • Teachers that hold a relevant qualification – Batchelor of Education (Bed), BA/BSc with QTS, Degree in Teaching training, PGCE or SCITT.
  • Teachers who are experienced teaching pupils with special educational needs.
  • Teachers who can adapt to change quicky and can keep up with the pace of a busy school
  • Teachers who are dedicated to supporting the development of pupils with special needs
  • Teachers who can adapt their teaching styles to suit the needs of a variety of children
  • Teachers who can work well with a team of highly experienced special needs teaching assistants

The school are open to appointing the following:

  • NQT’s
  • Experience SEN Teacher
  • Primary Teacher with a background in mainstream teaching

Training courses specific to teaching children with special educational needs will be provided. This includes, Team Teach, Moving and Manual Handling, Autism Awareness to name a few.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
