Teachers Needed in Dewsbury

This vacancy has now expired.

Job description

Here at Teaching Personnel I have had a huge demand for flexible Supply teachers to work across a range of Secondary schools in the Dewsbury area. These schools require qualified teachers who can cover across a range of subjects which will be different on the day. If you are looking for flexible day to day work to supplement your income or just want to work on an AD-HOC basis then make sure to read on, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Teaching Personnel are the market leader in education recruitment boasting the most days out and supply bookings across the country. With Teaching Personnel having 80 branches across the country and myself looking after Secondary schools throughout the Kirklees and Wakefield area specifically, there are always plenty of opportunities for work.

To work as a supply teacher with Teaching Personnel I am looking for the following:

  • UK qualified teacher status - NQT's may also apply
  • The ability to manage challenging behaviour effectively
  • Have the presence in class with a 'can do' attitude
  • Be positive and enthusiastic to promote attainment where possible
  • Someone who is flexible to teach across a range of differing subjects
  • Has the ability to deliver pre-planned work set by the class teacher

A lot of my secondary schools tend to book supply in advance which is great for teachers who need to arrange childcare etc. There are always opportunities for emergency bookings on a morning as well. With neighbouring secondary schools across Batley and Kirklees there are plenty of opportunities for you to work every day if so desired.

If you wish to know any further information on the above post, I would make sure you apply as soon as possible or furthermore please feel free to contact me at the Leeds Bradford Secondary branch.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see for details.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
