The Future Teachers Programme in Swindon provides graduates with the opportunity to gain valuable, salaried experience in a school before progressing into formal teacher training or a PGCE.

The Opportunity

Location: Swindon
Start Date: January 2027
Salary: £23,000 – £27,000 per year
Position: Full-time
Programme: Two years of salaried school experience
Next Step: Salaried teacher training or PGCE

What Will You Do?

During the programme, you will become an integral part of a school environment, working alongside experienced teachers and education professionals.

You will gain practical experience supporting pupils, contributing to classroom activities and developing your understanding of teaching and learning.

This is an opportunity to experience the day-to-day reality of working in education while developing the skills and confidence needed for your future teaching career.

What We Offer

Salaried Experience
Earn between £20,000 and £24,000 while gaining two years of valuable experience working in a school.

Practical Classroom Experience
Develop your understanding of classroom management, pupil support and teaching and learning.

Progression into Teacher Training

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
