Are you a Teacher of Religious Education looking for work in the Accrington area?
Teaching personnel are working in partnership with a school in Accrington to recruit an RE Teacher to join their successful humanities department. The school requires a Teacher Full time to deliver Religious Education up to GCSE level. The position has become available due to the resignation, of one of the schools RE Teachers. The position starts from September 2018 and will run on a temporary basis initially, upon the completion of a probationary period the school will be looking to offer a permanent position.
The school is an average sized school with approximately 800 pupils on roll. The school has been consistently graded "Outstanding" and gains excellent feedback regarding the supportive atmosphere at the school. The Humanities department are keen to secure someone with experience delivering GCSE RE previously, however, applications from NQT's would be considered.
The successful Teacher will be expected to contribute to the wider ethos of the school. The school has been commended for their pupil support for mental, social and spiritual wellbeing and require a teacher who is keen to contribute to this.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
