Teacher of MFL – Secondary Academy – Rainham, Essex
Location: Rainham, Essex
Salary: £37,913 - £55,494 (Outer London MPS/UPS)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Start Date: September 2025 (or sooner if available)
Are you a skilled and enthusiastic MFL teacher with a passion for language learning and cultural education? Our client, a forward-thinking and inclusive secondary academy based in Rainham, Essex, is seeking a committed Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages to join their successful languages department. This is a brilliant opportunity to make a lasting impact and inspire students through high-quality language teaching.
Key Responsibilities:

Teach French and/or Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable)

Create dynamic and engaging lessons that promote linguistic fluency and intercultural understanding

Support students of all abilities to achieve excellent outcomes in MFL
-
Promote a love of languages through clubs, trips, and cultural activities
-
Contribute to the department’s continuous development and innovation
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
-
Experience teaching MFL in a secondary setting
-
Strong subject knowledge in French and/or Spanish (a third language is an advantage)
-
A commitment to high standards and inclusive practice
-
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
