Teacher of Mathematics required for a high achieving school in Warrington

The Manchester West Secondary branch of Teaching Personnel have been approached by one of our partner schools located in Warrington to recruit for a Teacher of Mathematics on their behalf. This role is to start from after the Easter holidays.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Teacher of Mathematics to join a school that has made the most progress within the local area over the last few years. Coupled with that, the Senior Leadership team are extremely driven to ensure that all staff and pupils are given the opportunity to thrive in a supportive department.

  • Full time Teacher of Mathematics position
  • Delivering Mathematics to Key Stages 3 & 4
  • Required to start from April 2018 for a minimum of two terms initially
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS dependant upon experience

Due to an extended leave of absence within their Maths department from Easter, this rapidly improving 11-16 school have the ideal opportunity for a Teacher of Maths who is looking to secure a new progressive role. If you are an experienced teacher looking for an exciting new challenge where you can make a difference, or a newly qualified teacher, you are welcomed to apply.

This school wish to appoint a Teacher of Mathematics who is comfortable delivering up to GCSE Maths and can provide engaging lessons to pupils of all abilities. The incoming Teacher of Mathematics will be provided with full support from an experienced teaching department and will have the privilege of teaching pupils whose behaviour is good, they are polite, courteous and show respect for one another and for their teachers.

Our client secondary school is smaller than the average size with just over 900 pupils on roll. It has made significant progress within the last few years and is well reputed within the local area as a result.

Located in Warrington, the school is easily accessible via the M60, M56 and M6 motorways. It is a short drive from the surrounding areas of both Liverpool and Wigan which makes it an ideal location for those who live there.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
