Teacher of Mathematics
Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date:September 2026

Are you a passionate and dedicated Mathematics teacher looking to inspire the next generation of learners? We are seeking an enthusiastic Teacher of Mathematics to join a thriving secondary school in Northampton.

This is an exciting opportunity for both early career teachers and experienced practitioners who are committed to delivering high-quality teaching and achieving excellent outcomes for students.

The Role
You will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for Key Stage 5, depending on experience)
  • Foster a positive learning environment where all students feel supported and motivated to succeed
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback to support improvement
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the Maths curriculum

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • A strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
  • A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
  • The ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • A collaborative and proactive approach to working within a team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
