Role and Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Maths lessons to secondary school students.
- Utilize a variety of teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and fosters academic growth.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues and the Maths department to develop and implement curriculum plans and schemes of work.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance.
- Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school-related events as required.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Specialization in Maths or a related subject.
- Experience teaching Maths at the secondary school level.
- Strong knowledge of the UK national curriculum and assessment requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students, fostering a love for Maths.
- Dedication to providing a high standard of education and supporting students' individual needs.
