Role and Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Maths lessons to secondary school students.
• Utilize a variety of teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and fosters academic growth.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement.
• Collaborate with colleagues and the Maths department to develop and implement curriculum plans and schemes of work.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance.
• Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school-related events as required.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Specialization in Maths or a related subject.
• Experience teaching Maths at the secondary school level.
• Strong knowledge of the UK national curriculum and assessment requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students, fostering a love for Maths.
• Dedication to providing a high standard of education and supporting students' individual needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
