Teacher of Mathematics – Farnborough

Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full time / Permanent
Salary: MPR / UPR
Suitable for: ECTs and experienced teachers

The Mathematics Department

The Maths department is a well‑established and high‑performing team, currently made up of experienced and committed teachers who work collaboratively to achieve strong outcomes. The department:

  • Delivers a structured and engaging curriculum across KS3 and KS4
  • Uses a blend of traditional and modern teaching approaches
  • Incorporates resources such as Mastery Maths, White Rose and online learning platforms

The Role

You will:

  • Teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4
  • Deliver engaging, challenging and well‑structured lessons
  • Motivate and inspire students of all abilities to achieve their best
  • Use assessment effectively to monitor and raise attainment
  • Contribute to departmental planning, collaboration and development
  • Play an active role in the wider school community

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking a teacher who:

  • Has strong subject knowledge in Mathematics up to GCSE
  • Is an engaging and adaptable classroom practitioner
  • Has high expectations for student progress and behaviour
  • Is organised, motivated and committed to continuous improvement
  • Works collaboratively and contributes to department success

Applicants should hold QTS (or equivalent) and have a strong understanding of the secondary curriculum. Applications are welcomed from both ECTs and experienced teachers.
