Maths Teacher

Location: Leyland

Contract: Full-time

Start Date: September 2026 (or sooner)

Salary: From £170 per day (dependant on experience)

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate, dedicated, and motivated Maths Teacher to join a successful and forward‑thinking Mathematics Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ambitious ECT looking to begin their career in a highly supportive environment.

You will deliver engaging, high‑quality lessons that inspire students, foster a love of mathematics, and drive strong progress across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The ability to teach A‑Level Maths is desirable but not essential.

 

Key Responsibilities

-                 Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across KS3–KS4.

-                 Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.

-                 Contribute to curriculum planning and development within the Maths department.

-                 Maintain high expectations for behaviour and uphold strong classroom management.

-                 Take part in departmental meetings, CPD, and whole‑school initiatives.

-                 Support the academic and personal development of all learners.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
