Teacher of Maths – Secondary School – Basingstoke – September 2025 Start

Are you a driven and inspiring Teacher of Mathematics ready to make an impact in the classroom? A well-regarded secondary school in Basingstoke is seeking a talented Maths Teacher to join their team from September 2025 on a full-time, permanent basis.

Whether you are a newly qualified teacher (ECT) or an experienced educator looking for a fresh challenge, this is a fantastic opportunity to teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 in a collaborative and forward-thinking department.


About the Role:

As a Teacher of Maths, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and structured maths lessons that inspire students of all abilities
  • Teach across the full age and attainment range at KS3 and KS4
  • Contribute to curriculum planning and resource development within the department
  • Use data effectively to monitor progress and adapt teaching where necessary
  • Foster a positive learning environment where every student can succeed

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent UK-recognised teaching qualification
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics
  • The ability to plan and deliver high-quality lessons tailored to a diverse student cohort
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • A reflective and proactive approach to professional development
  • Open to ECTs, who will be fully supported through a structured induction programme
