Teacher of Maths – Secondary School – Andover – September 2025 Start

Are you a passionate and committed Teacher of Maths looking for your next role from September 2025? Whether you’re an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or an experienced practitioner, this is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established secondary school in Andover, Hampshire, where maths is a thriving and valued subject.

We are working in partnership with a forward-thinking school seeking a full-time Maths Teacher to inspire and challenge students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will be joining a collaborative and dedicated department that believes every student can succeed in maths through creativity, clarity and curiosity.


The Role:

As a Teacher of Mathematics, you will:

  • Teach across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging and differentiated maths lessons
  • Use innovative approaches to promote mastery and problem-solving
  • Prepare students for their GCSEs and contribute to raising achievement across the department
  • Work closely with colleagues to plan, assess and share best practice
  • Provide support and challenge for students of all abilities

What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher with QTS, or equivalent recognised UK teaching status
  • A strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics
  • An enthusiastic and reflective teacher who embraces professional growth
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • Commitment to raising attainment and developing confident learners
  • ECTs are encouraged to apply and will be supported by experienced mentors
