Maths Teacher – Secondary School – Andover – September 2025 Start

A welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Andover, Hampshire is seeking a talented Teacher of Mathematics to join their team from September 2025. This is a full-time, long-term position, open to both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).


The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality Mathematics lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4

  • Inspire and support students of all abilities to develop confidence and fluency in maths

  • Use data effectively to monitor student progress and adapt teaching where needed

  • Collaborate with a strong department that values shared planning and professional development

  • Contribute to the wider school community and enrichment activities

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK

  • Experience teaching Mathematics at Key Stage 3 and 4

  • ECTs are encouraged to apply – full induction and mentoring provided

  • A team player who brings energy, creativity and a love for mathematics

  • Able to plan and deliver inspiring lessons that engage and challenge learners


Location: Andover, Hampshire
Start Date: September 2025
Eligibility: UK-based teachers with QTS

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
