Teacher of Maths

Pay Scale: M2-M6

Full time

Permanent positon

The Academy based in the Gosport area are seeking to recruit a dynamic and ambitious teacher of Maths to join them on a full time basis from November 4th or January 6th. The school withholds a culture of high standards, expectations and aspirations for every student and go to great lengths to ensure their learners achieve the very best.

As a member of staff at this school, you will work collaboratively within your curriculum team to plan schemes of work to ensure lessons are delivered to the content of the national Programme of Study, and that high challenge and enjoyment are at the heart of learning. It is important to them that the Year 7, 8 and 9 curriculum is much more than a means of preparing pupils for Years 10 and 11. You will be involved in curriculum mapping to ensure that the skills required for assessment in Year 11 are developed from the start of a pupil’s journey in Year 7 and that learning from primary school is built upon and not repeated.

To continue the success of the school, the curriculum lead is looking for an experienced teacher to join them who can bring expertise, creativity and direction. They are looking a teacher who is looking to be challenged and who will be looking for the next step in their carer within the next couple of years. You should have a good track record of progress and attendance in your lessons and have a good sense of humour, needed to build good rapport with their students.
