On behalf of our partner school in Andover, We seek to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated teacher of Computer Science / IT who has the ability to teach across the full age range. This post would suit an experienced teacher or an NQT with good prospects for career development. The successful candidate will be a creative and dynamic practitioner who will be able to contribute to the development of their Computer Science/IT Department and help drive forward our agenda of continuous improvement. The Department is a busy and cohesive team who work together to achieve the best for students.

The School is the first school in Test Valley to be designated a Lead School by CAS (Computing at School), a nationally recognised organisation for the management, delivery and support of Computing in the UK. The award reflects the expertise and commitment the school has to Computing and Computer Science. The school delivers Computing from Year 7 through to 11 and offers Computer Science and the Cambridge National Digital Technologies at GCSE. The Curriculum Leader is a CAS Master teacher.

Computer Science results in 2018 were Outstanding and ranked 3rd in Hampshire for strong subject performance. The results were well above the National Average. (95% 9-4 Grades 74% 9-5 Grades)
