Teacher of Humanities

Job description

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a large secondary Academy in Nottinghamshire to support with the recruitment of a Humanities (either History or Geography specialism) teacher for September 2019.

This position has arisen due to a staffing gap and will incorporate teaching across Key Stage Three and GCSE. As this position is an open gap within the department, the successful teacher will initially be appointed on a temporary basis, with a permanent contract available in the new academic year.

  • Full-time teacher required,September 2019
  • Teaching across Key Stage Three and GCSE, full responsibilities for planning and marking

  • Pay in line with teaching experience

The successful teacher will join an established team of four other specialists, and will have access to their own workshop and classroom. This opportunity will result in a permanent appointment and will initially be offered on a temporary basis from September 2019.

It is essential that the incoming teacher has experience teaching across Key Stage Three and GCSE and is able to deliver lessons that stretch and challenge learners of all ability levels.
