Teacher of History – Southend-on-Sea

Start Date: September 2025
Location: Southend-on-Sea, Essex
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Our client, a well-respected secondary school and sixth form based in Southend-on-Sea, is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Teacher of History to join their thriving Humanities department from September 2025.

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).

  • Have strong subject knowledge in History and a passion for the subject.

  • Be committed to delivering engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire students.

  • Have high expectations for student achievement and behaviour.

  • Be enthusiastic, flexible, and keen to contribute to the wider school community.

  • Work well within a supportive and experienced Humanities team.
