Teacher of History and Religious Studies

We are looking for a passionate and committed Teacher of History and Religious Studies to join the Humanities department. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping them develop a deep understanding of historical events and religious beliefs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in History and Religious Studies.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enhance the overall educational experience.
- Stay up-to-date with the curriculum and educational best practices.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in History, Religious Studies, or a related field.
- Experience teaching History and Religious Studies at the secondary school level.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for education.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
