We are looking for a passionate and committed Teacher of History and Religious Studies to join the Humanities department. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping them develop a deep understanding of historical events and religious beliefs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in History and Religious Studies.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources.
• Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enhance the overall educational experience.
• Stay up-to-date with the curriculum and educational best practices.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in History, Religious Studies, or a related field.
• Experience teaching History and Religious Studies at the secondary school level.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for education.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
