The school based in Darlington are seeking to recruit a Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages with the ability to teach KS3 and KS4 French. The department has seen improvement in progress over the last couple of years and in order to continue with this, they are looking for an ambitious teacher. Someone who can demonstrate innovation in their lessons, who is inspiring and can promote a love of languages and culture, is desirable.

The successful candidate should:

• Be able to demonstrate expert linguistics in French 
• Have good knowledge of the history and culture of France
• Be an all inclusive individual; the school gives students the option to learn either French or Spanish from year 7.
• Have high expectations of their students and is committed to enabling them reach their potential
• Be reflective  in their practice and be dedicated to continue to raise standards in the department
• Have excellent interpersonal skills, be a team player and be whiling to contribute to the growth of the extra curricular provision in the school
