Teacher of English to start January 2020

The school are looking to appoint a temporary teacher of English from January until the end of the academic year with the ability to teach across KS3/KS4 and make a significant contribution to the schools English department. The post would be suitable for an NQT seeking to start their teaching career as part of an effective and supportive team. We will be considering all applicants up until the closing date and interviews will be held on a rolling basis. This position is paid to national MPR/UPR pay scale.

NQTs applying for this role will be given full support by a team of mentors as well as the English Department and all staff is offered ongoing CPD on a weekly basis to improve teaching practise across the school.

Students at this school are generally well behaved and low level classroom disruption is at a minimum throughout the classrooms in school. The school are happy for candidates to come in for a brief meeting prior to an interview with observed lesson in order to showcase their school and the students.
