Position Overview:

As an English Teacher, you will have the exciting opportunity to ignite a passion for English language and literature in our students. Your creativity, knowledge, and dedication will help shape the future writers, thinkers, and communicators of our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging English lessons that cater to a diverse range of students.
  • Foster a love for literature, creative writing, and critical thinking skills.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the school's extracurricular activities.
  • Stay current with educational trends and developments in the field of English teaching.

Qualifications:

    • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
    • Strong subject knowledge in English literature and language.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Passion for teaching and a commitment to the success of all students.
    • Ability to create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
