Job Title: Teacher of DT (Resistant Materials)

Location: East Kent

Full/Part Time: Full Time

Start Date: 2nd September 2019

Pay Range: £120.00 to £170.00 per day

Teacher of DT (Resistant Materials)|| East Kent

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a lovely secondary school in East Kent who are very well regarded in the community. This school has been rated as 'Good' and going from 'strength to strength' are looking to recruit an ambitious Teacher of DT. The school have a fantastic department who are hardworking and committed to raising standards and achievements of all their pupils.

As a Teacher of DT, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective teaching and learning of pupils and be confident in your abilities to teach DT (Resistant Materials) to GCSE level and Product design. You will be required to carry out all Planning/Marking & Preparation. The school is looking for an exceptional DT teacher who can create a supportive, encouraging and safe learning environment for pupils of all diverse backgrounds. In addition to working well with students, you will also be able to demonstrate a flexible and adaptable approach to working within a school environment and with other members of staff. To be considered you must have QTS or be a Newly Qualified Teacher.

You will be confident, creative & have the ability to drive all pupils to reach their full potential while having a passion for teaching DT. You will have extensive subject knowledge. You will hold QTS in DT. You must have recent experience within last 2 years in the classroom, and be committed, positive and enthusiastic.

You will be paid to your current teacher scale and will have contact with your own personal consultant, CPD opportunities access to a wide range of teaching opportunities.
