Do you have a passion for teaching?

Are you a qualified teacher with experience in a senior position?

Teaching Personnel are working with a large, modern and successful academy in Westminster, London, who wish to appoint a highly motivated and creative D&T teacher, from Easter 2021, on a full time basis.

This school achieved 'Good' and 'Outstanding' status' from Ofsted, and continues to work hard to make sure every pupil is achieving the best they can. The school has been recognised by Ofsted for its welcoming and inclusive learning environment where students can show excellent attitudes towards learning, and make the most of an outstanding, innovative curriculum.

This is a great chance to join an amazing school, with the position likely to turn permentant after one academic year.

The school is easily accessible from public transport in London, however does not have an on-site car park.

To be successful you will be:

  • An brilliant classroom educator and online teacher
  • Able to demonstrate success in teaching D&T to Key Stages 3 and 4 students of all abilities
  • Committed to achieving the very best outcomes for students
  • Able to create a stimulating learning environment
  • Knowledge of the current National Curriculum
  • Have hands-on experience with common machinary
  • May include some Food Tech classes
  • Passionate about teaching and learning, while maintaining control and safety in the classroom/workshop

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
