Outstanding and experienced Teacher of Computer Science required for September 2019 for KS3 and KS4.
We believe exceptional quality teachers can transform lives and create a lasting impact on a school. We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Teacher of Computer Science to bring this to a school, who expresses an ambitious style of learning and a real passion for the subject.
This candidate must be fully-qualified and be able to handle educational challenges, in your aim to bring an exciting range of opportunities to students invested in this subject.
Applicants foremost should have exceptional classroom management and leadership skills to accommodate the oversubscribed pupil population. The teacher must show a keen interest in learning development with a positive and collaborative approach to teaching and learning, all aiming to help professional development and overall department attainment.
The ideal candidate should be driven to high expectations and advocate respect for all.

- be confident with classroom management
- be able to model best practice in the classroom.
- be a strategic thinker, able to turn ideas and opportunities into successful practice.
- use a range of teaching methods; visual, verbal, written and practical
- have excellent interpersonal skills to establish strong relationships with students and colleagues.
About the role…
The role requires excellent teaching to accommodate a range of abilities to secondary aged pupils. The teacher will be valued for their talent and be able to monitor student progress on a focus and whole-school improvement. In return, there are a friendly and supportive group of colleagues to work with on a daily basis in a modern, re-furbished £18 million building. All staff would be provided with laptops amongst their generous ICT facilities.
This opportunity has the potential to go permanent with excellent CPD opportunities.
To be considered for this role, you will be required to:
- Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
- Be able to provide two references from the last 6 years.
