Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of a vibrant academy in Folkestone to support them in recruiting a Teacher of Catering. This full time post is to start ASAP and the successful candidate would be required to teach KS4. KS5 curriculum experience as desirable and depending on experience, opportunities to teach 6th form pupils could be an option.
Possessing Qualified Teacher Status isn't a necessity but would be advantageous. Ultimately the academy are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative instructor/teacher to guide their students through their course.
Successful applicants will be expected to design and deliver learning sequences which promote positive engagement with learning and generate a passion for catering and hospitality amongst the pupils. Applicants will also demonstrate a confident ability to form positive working relationships with young people and will be able to respond effectively to the needs of their pupils. This is an opportunity for a highly-motivated and ambitious colleague to deliver an exciting practical subject area which will make a significant impact on the outcomes for our pupils.
