Special Education Needs (SEN) Teacher
Location: NG5, Nottingham
Start Date: 19th February 2024
Salary: M1 – M6 Pay Scale
Are you a dedicated and experienced Special Education Needs (SEN) Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity in NG5, Nottingham? We have an opening for a compassionate SEN Teacher to join our team, starting on the 19th of February.
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialised instruction and support to students with special educational needs.
- Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the SENCO and other professionals.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment that promotes the social and emotional well-being of students with SEN.
- Collaborate with parents/guardians to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
- Utilise available resources, materials, and technology effectively to enhance the learning experience for students with special educational needs.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven experience as an SEN teacher with a focus on individualised support.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards working with students with special educational needs.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.
