Teacher

We are working closely with our client school who have an exciting opportunity for an outstanding year 5/6 teacher to cover full time. This position is available for an immediate start, this can be flexible for the right candidate and is expected to continue until the end summer term. The successful candidate will have responsibility for whole class teaching including helping year 6 pupils to prepare for SATs.

We expect the successful candidate will be a qualified teacher, holding QTS or equivalent, in addition we require recent, referenceable teaching experience.

The school is smaller than average and currently caters for children aged from 4 to 11 years of age. There are approximately 175 children on role, being taught in six classes. The school is currently graded as "Good" by Ofsted and is rapidly improving in all areas. It is proud to provide a secure and stimulating environment, where children are motivated to become independent learners and thinkers with high expectations.
