Job description

Year 5 (KS2) teacher required from September 2020 for a school in Redruth, Cornwall.

Teaching Personnel are working with a lovely one-form entry Primary school to recruit an enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher. If you have recent teaching experience within KS2 and are looking for a full time position in West Cornwall then please get in touch.

This is a full time role and is due to start at the beginning of the new academic year, until the end of the Spring Term. The School are willing to consider NQTs and support in completing induction terms will be provided. 

The ideal candidate for this role will have recent experience teaching within KS2 and be able to show strong classroom management skills. Examples of KS2 primary school experience must be provided at interview, along with a full employment history.

Professional development is actively encouraged at this school and they are keen to take on board new ideas from forward thinking teaching colleagues. The Head Teacher has been keen to develop a supportive team; Teachers are well supported by governors, the leadership team and a range of effective non-teaching staff including administrators, teaching assistants and specialist Learning Support Practitioners. All staff benefit from a good programme of continued professional development and you will also have access to many training courses via Teaching Personnel's CPD Academy. 

You will need the following requirements to be considered for this post:
- Recent experience within KS2 
- PGCE/SCITT/BEd (or similar) in primary with QTS
