TA's experienced in Autism required in Longridge

Job description

A school in Longridge are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant who, under the general supervision and direction of the teacher, will plan and implement learning activities for individuals and groups with Autism and associated sensory, behavioural and learning difficulties. You will also be required to monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to the class teacher and establish supportive and constructive relationships with pupils, parents and carers.

Essential Qualifications: Level 2 or equivalent qualification in English/Literacy and Mathematics/Numeracy -NVQ level 2 or above qualification.

Essential Experience: Experience of working with or caring for children with ASC.

Desirable Experience -Experience of working in a relevant classroom/service environment, experience of Administrative work, experience of supporting pupils with challenging behaviour.
