TA required for SEN School near Welling

A growing school in South East London is looking for a full time teaching assistant to join them from after the February half term.

The school:

• Is located near Welling
• Is a special school with two sites - one for primary and one for secondary
• Caters for students with a range of complex needs including autism and PMLD
• Has a new building, with modern facilities including sensory rooms and a swimming pool for hydrotherapy
• Has a supportive SLT and friendly staff team
• Groups students into classes of no more than 10 students

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience of supporting children or adults with autism
• A DBS on the update service, or be willing to complete a new one asap
• Excellent references from your two most recent employers
• Confidence to swim and assist with hydrotherapy for the children
• A background in education, care or support work
• A level 3 or higher qualification for working with children
