We have an amazing opportunity for Youth Workers and Support Workers in an outstanding school with sites in West London and South West London. Being part of an academy trust with over 7 schools across London and Surrey this is a highly sought after role with a range of positions available.

A job at this school is both an inspiring, challenging and rewarding experience working with young learners with social, emotional mental health needs, autism and complex learning/medical needs. Students range from the ages of 5 to 22 years old with some students learning through outreach support and others through learning support in class.

Having working or voluntary experience as a Youth Worker or Support worker is essential to effectively support their pupils. Training will also be provided in-house focusing on specific tools used within the school to support particular pupils.

You will be able to work collaboratively and closely with trained specialist staff and therapists in education and mental health gaining invaluable experience first hand. Roles are to start in September 2019 for an academic year with opportunities to apply for permanent positions within the school.

There are both Primary, Secondary and Post-16 support positions within the academy trust schools based in:

  • Uxbridge
  • West Drayton
  • Kingston
  • Wandsworth
  • Sutton

What would you need to secure this job:

  • MUST have experience as a Support Worker or Youth Worker
  • MUST live in West or South West London
  • MUST be to apply for a Child and Adult DBS
  • Commitment for regular work each Monday to Friday for an academic year (full time work)
