Support Worker

Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit Support Assistants to work in a school in Camborne.

Your role will entail you to work on a 1:1 basis with children engaging them socially whilst maintaining a strong relationship and encouraging their academic development. Throughout the day you will be working both inside and outside of the classroom. You will be working closely with the children, parents and other professionals, observing the child’s development and offering  new initiatives that inspire them to progress further.

To be successful for this role, you must have a qualification of Level 2 or higher that relates to children. For example:

• Health & Social Care
• Childcare
• Sports Coaching
• Supporting Learning and education
• Others will be considered

The ideal candidate will also have previous experience in either the following sectors or another relevant role:

• Youth Work
• Support Work
• Psychology

Teaching Personnel pride itself in safer recruitment and therefore we will require references from your two most recent employers. You will also need a Child workforce DBs on the Update Service (either upon registration or throughout the process)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
