The role:
This role is ideal for experienced teachers looking to reduce their timetable or workload, Newly Qualified Teachers looking to gain more experience or retired teachers looking for flexible part-time work.
We are looking to introduce a new cohort of supply teachers to our client schools in and around the Portsmouth area following the reopening of schools in the UK (COVID-19 closures) in March.
Duties of the role will include covering in the short term absence of teachers over a variety of subjects and year groups. Planning and marking is not required for this role as all work will be set. Strong classroom management, flexibility and the ability to be proactive is essential for this role.
Teaching Personnel work with a variety of schools in the area including Academies, Independent Schools and Faith Schools. If you are open to working across sectors, we can also offer Primary ans SEN cover in addition to Secondary cover in the area.
Highlights of this supply teacher position:
• Regular flexible supply work between 1 – 5 days per week

• Competitive pay in line with expectations, dependent on teaching experience, pay scale and school contracts

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
