Supply Teaching Assistant

A friendly and inclusive primary school in Salisbury is seeking a part-time Supply Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about working with children and is looking for part-time hours within a supportive school environment.
As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will work on an ad hoc or short-term basis, supporting pupils across EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 depending on the school’s needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging learning activities

Assisting pupils with academic tasks and encouraging participation
-
Helping to manage behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
-
Working one-to-one or with small groups of pupils where needed
-
Supporting pupils’ social and emotional development
About You:
-
Experience working with children (in school or similar setting)
-
Enthusiastic, reliable, and patient in your approach
-
Able to work flexibly across different age groups
-
DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
