Schools in Preston require day to day support from multiple Teaching Assistants. The successful applicant will support the class teacher in planning and presenting lessons and assist in helping students learn.

What will your role consist of?

• Helping the class teacher
• Assisting with creating lesson plans and activities
• Working with small groups of students to enhance the learning process
• Ensuring classrooms are safe and tidy
• Setting up necessary materials for classes
• Escorting and supervising students in school activities and trips
• Supporting the class teacher with behaviour and classroom management

Requirements and skills:

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant
• Great communication and organisational skills
• Cool-tempered and positive attitude
• Firm but fair approach
• A love for education
• The ability to build trusting relationships with students, teachers and parents/carers
