Are you looking for a new teaching role for September?

Teaching Personnel are looking for supply teachers to cover work in and around the Salisbury area. Whether you are looking for short term ad-hoc work or a long term or permanent placement within a school, Teaching Personnel can help get you your ideal role! If you are looking for the challenge but do not want any of the pressure and commitment that the full working week gives you, then supply work is great for you!

With supply teaching, no two days are the same! Day-to-day or short term supply is a great way to work in different schools with different ages and ability. Whats even better is that you can choose when you want to work! Use our online diary service to keep us updated with how much work you want- whether that's 1 day a week or 5.

If you are looking for longer term positions or prefer to have consistency in terms of the location/age group or school, many of our daily supply staff get requested back frequently if they made a good impression which often leads to longer term and permanent positions for September!

Benefits of supply:

  • You get the flexibility to work when and where you want.
  • Gain an all round experience before deciding exactly what your preferences are in terms of long term positions.
  • No pressure and constraints of working full time.
  • You still get to work within the education sector.
  • Paid on a weekly basis!
  • An abundance of supply work in a variety of schools.
  • Get taken on permanently by your favourite school.
  • Supply teachers never have to accept the work that they are offered!

Before you start:

- Have the legal right to work in the UK
- Hold a Child Workforce Only DBS registered on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one - full assistance provided)
- Provide at least two references

Due to the nature of a supply Teacher role, it is crucial that you have a strong classroom presence, and are able to effectively manage behaviour. Successful applicants will be an energetic and passionate, with knowledge of the National Curriculum.

Please note - if the above role isn't quite right for you BUT you would still like to engage in a position within the education sector, please be advised that we are currently recruiting for several roles to start ASAP and in September, throughout Dorset, Wiltshire and Hampshire, within all year groups from Nursery to College.
