Supply Teachers Required

Teaching Personnel need supply teachers who are flexible and readily available to pick up short term placements across the Lancashire area.

This year has seen a record number of supply teachers placed across the Lancashire area covering a range of year groups and school type.

Strength in Curriculum knowledge and behaviour management is vitally important when working on a supply teacher, Teaching Personnel will ensure you are comfortable in the school you are working in but will not be able to control the type of children you are working with - So you have to be on top for every day.

The pay rates are competitive locally and consultants will work on your behalf to negotiate a higher rate depending on experience and the responsibilities you have in the classroom.

How does it work?

Firstly you need to undergo a telephone conversation with a local consultant who will ask you about your experiences and get a feel for the type of work you are most suited to.

You will then have to provide personal details consisting of a 6 year career history in which you will have to provide at least two education based references. The references will need to be graded GOOD or better.

As part of the registration process, you will also have to be face to face interviewed by the consultant in order to gain further information on your experiences.

Teaching Personnel work in line with the REC vetting guidelines and compliance to ensure you are completely cleared to work in schools with children. As part of this, you will need to hold a Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service. This will ensure you are able to work safely with children in an education setting.

Supply work offers many things from flexibility for retired or part time teachers to giving newly qualified teachers the opportunity to gain further experience.

If you are anywhere in between then please do not hesitate to contact me. The agency is currently working with a record number of client schools across Lancashire and so we are preparing for a really busy term after the Christmas period.

Contact me in the office.
