Rate: GBP155 - GBP265 per day depending on experience.

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a secondary schools in the borough of Hounslow who are seeking supply teachers for ad-hoc and short term day to day supply cover bookings.

As a supply staff member for Teaching Personnel, you will have access to between 2-5 days per week supply depending on your availability.

As a member of Teaching Personnel’s cover staff, you will need to have a confident and flexible approach towards teaching. The role will include supervising whole classes during the absence of the teacher, responding to questions, assisting pupils in undertaking set activities and maintaining order. In most classes being covered work has already been set.

Essential qualities:

• Effective communication skills: written and verbal. Able to communicate effectively with a range of people in a variety of contexts
• Possess the resilience and stamina required to cope with the demands of the post
• Shows initiative and a positive and flexible response to change. Able to accommodate the changing needs of the school and children
• A desire and ability to improve own performance through reflection and appropriate professional development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
