Secondary schools in the Trafford area are looking for teachers who are available on a flexible, temporary basis to cover lessons as required.

Working with a number of secondary schools in Trafford, Teaching Personnel have found themselves inundated with requests for short term/day to day teachers who can go into school to cover lessons across the subject range. These schools are located in the areas of Stretford, Urmston, Sale, Altrincham and Hale. Teachers will find these schools easy to get to from any of the nearby areas especially as the metrolink travels directly through the Trafford education authority.

Highlights of the supply teaching role:

  • Supply teacher opportunities in the Trafford area
  • Various options from day to day cover across the subject range or in your specific subject area
  • Work which is consistent in a number of Trafford based secondary schools
  • Day to day, short term and more longer term supply teaching assignments (up to 1/2 terms)
  • Competitive pay rate with opportunity to earn up to GBP2300 per month depending upon availability

If you are a teacher who is looking to just keep their hand in teaching or perhaps you are studying on a part time basis and are keen to teach aswell then this role is ideal for you. If you have any availability from 2 days per week – 5 days per week, then please apply highlighting this on your application. Schools are keen to gain consistency and continuity for students with many asking for good supply teachers back by name.

Working with schools across the whole LEA brings the option to teach in different types of schools based on personal preference. If you prefer an academic setting or perhaps a more behaviour managed setting then there are a many different schools for you to cover in, with requests coming in advance as well as on the morning.
