A great opportunity for a dedicated teacher who is looking for a flexible role with less responsibility but wants to continue their passion for teaching.
A vibrant and popular secondary school located in the Eccles area of Salford are currently looking to recruit a supply teacher to support the school with ongoing short term absence. This is a temporary, flexible role which can involve daily cover work or subject specific cover in your specialism.
The post of supply teacher is open to teachers of all levels, experience or newly qualified. This is fantastic opportunity if you are looking for an introduction to a new school. The school require the incoming supply teacher to be flexible, enthusiastic and have strong classroom management.
Highlights of the Supply Teacher opportunity:
- Supporting an oversubscribed secondary school in Salford with general lesson cover - starting as soon as possible
- Prioritised for subject specific cover in your specialism/s
- Flexible supply work around your availability and other commitments
- Starting as soon as possible – high demand due to planned and unplanned absences
- No planning or marking!
- Competitive daily rates of pay – earning up to GBP600 a week
- Applicants must hold QTS or similar teaching qualifications
The incoming supply teacher will join a thriving and supportive secondary school in Salford with desirable values and ethos, close to the area of Eccles. The school is heavily oversubscribed this academic year which has increased the demand for a supply teacher. Candidates from in and around of Salford can easily access the school from areas such as Worsley, Irlam, Stretford and Urmston.The school is a modern new build with fantastic learning facilities! The culture of the school is very positive, working in line with its pupil centred approach to learning.
