Supply Primary School Teachers required in West Lancashire
Rate of Pay: Compeitive - £90-140/day
Are you currently looking for a new challenge in the new academic year?
Could you offer your skills on a day to day or medium term basis covering classes and delivering the Curriculum across a range of year groups?
If you hold Qualified Teacher Status and have experience working recently in Primary Schools, then we may have the perfect type of work for you at Teaching Personnel.
As a Supply Teacher, you will be expected to work in a number of schools across the West Lancashire area. The schools will vary in distance from your house and where possible the agency will try to arrange work ‘pre-booked’, giving you the best opportunity to arrive in school on time. Over the past term, Teaching Personnel have built strong relationships with a number of Business Managers and Head teacher’s, who are now offering a number of days supply work in the week.
Working as a supply teacher is a very rewarding job and one where you can impact on learning every day, with different children. You will be expected to deliver the work set by the permanent member of staff for each lesson (or prepare your own work if there isn’t anything set). You will need to use a range of behaviour management techniques and be able to use your initiative in order to deal with varying needs and ability levels. To conclude the working day, you will be expected to dismiss the children and leave feedback for the class teacher; specifying progress made and behaviour.
If the flexibility of this role sounds of interest and suitable to your working life, please do not hesitate to apply to work for Teaching Personnel! Please ensure that you upload your most recent CV to be considered and Hannah will be in touch within 48 hours to discuss next steps.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see the FAQ’s on the Teaching Personnel website for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with DfE statutory guidance ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ this may also include an online search as part of our due diligence on shortlisted applicants.
We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
