Supply Level 3 Teaching Assistant

The Role

We are seeking a caring and resilient individual to join the team as a  Qualified Teaching Assistant. You will work closely with teachers and support staff to help children who may experience dysregulation, complex needs, and challenging behaviours, supporting them to learn, grow, and thrive in a safe and structured environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and small-group support for pupils, including children with complex needs and challenging behaviours

• Help pupils to manage emotions and regulate their behaviour using positive strategies within a mainstream classroom

• Assist with classroom routines to maintain a calm, safe and engaging learning environment

• Work flexibly across different classes and key stages depending on need

• Support learning activities and interventions planned by the class teacher

About You

• Experience supporting all children, including special educational needs (SEN) and/or challenging behaviours, ideally within a primary setting

• Calm, patient and understanding, with the ability to build positive relationships

• Resilient and adaptable, able to work effectively in a dynamic environment

• A team player who works collaboratively with staff to support every child

• Passionate about helping children achieve their full potential in a nurturing setting
