Sports Graduate Teaching Assistant - Hull
The Job Role:
- Supporting the delivery of the national curriculum at Primary and Secondary level
- Using Sport and PE as a way of engaging learners
- Managing behaviour in-line with the School's positive reward behaviour scheme
- Helping with the re-integration of pupils back into mainstream Schools in Hull
- Work as a Cover Supervisor, leading PE lessons and other subjects, in the absence of the Teacher
- Work on a 1:1 basis delivering pre planned lessons with Secondary students
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
- Hold a Sports based Degree at 2:1 or higher
- Have experience in a Sports Coaching capacity
- Be a positive role model for 'at risk' students
- Have a passion and enthusiasm to start a career in Education
- Be Team Teach trained, or be willing to complete the 2 day training course
- Be available full time, or a minimum of 5 days per week
- Hold a Child Only DBS registered to the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one through Teaching Personnel
